This past weekend the first ever IMATS New York was held at 82 Mercer in Soho. The TEMPTU PRO team was there to experience this momentous occasion first hand. We were happy to welcome the makeup and special effects expertise of Jonah Levy both at the TEMPTU PRO booth, and on the Open Forum Stage. After his amazing Zombieland demo, we took a few moments to sit Jonah down and ask him a few questions about his inspirations, favorite projects, and what he thought about IMATS’s New York debut.

Last night CBS’s debuted their newest show Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. TEMPTU was lucky enough to be featured on the faces of the show’s three female leads: Janeane Garofalo, Beau Garrett, and Kirsten Vangsness. The show’s Key Makeup Artist, Wendi Avignone, is no stranger to TEMPTU PRO products, having used them previously on the set of Heroes. We sat down with her to get her insights on Airbrush makeup, and how it’s making the lives of on set makeup artists that much easier.

Jessica deBen has been doing makeup for over 10 years in the US (Los Angeles and New Orleans) and abroad (Vietnam and the Philippines). Jessica’s makeup has been seen everywhere from feature films, commercials, music videos, fashion shoots to actors headshots. Most recently Jessica was the lead makeup artist for Bella Circo’s Oceania show. Laura Reynolds, from our TEMPTU PRO LA team, took some time to sit down with Jessica and discuss her inspiration behind the dynamic looks she created for Oceania.

Best known for his “skin printing” technique, William Lemon’s body art has graced the skin of Marc Jacobs, Chloë Sevigny, and now Emanuela de Paulo.
