Throw a bunch of celebrities on a stage, and you can count on one hell of a show. It was hard to keep a straight face at last night’s From Scotland With Love charity fashion show, when the models were kissing and riverdancing down the runway- all for a good cause! The couture, however, didn’t go unnoticed. Famed designers Vivienne Tam, Zang Toi and Chloe Chen, among others, reminded us why they’re the best in the biz, with their extravagant trains, delicate headpieces, and authentic kilts paired with modern tees.
The confident catwalkers wouldn’t have been shimmying through Stage 48 without the speedy and precise skills of our 6-member PRO team, who cranked out editorial-worthy smokey eyes, glowy skin, and bright bold lips, in under two hours. Did we mention there were 60 models, who also had to get their hair done? Yes, our MUAs are beasts!
If we have to pick an MVP of the night, our vote goes to Key Artist Dani Fonseca, who took the show’s theme (The Scottish Lion Meets the Asian Dragon) to new heights. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Read More

Tech guru Dr. Gadget stopped by The Wendy Williams Show yesterday, to share his expertise on what’s getting major buzz this season, including the TEMPTU AIRbrush Makeup System 2.0. Lucky audience member Brittany had all the ladies oohing and aahing when she demonstrated the AIRpod Blush in Peony Pink. She had a perfect flush of color in 10 seconds. Celebrity guest, Omarosa, was particularly impressed, and came running into our greenroom after the show to find out where she could get her own system. She swung by the New York studio later and left with three full bags of product. The girl knows how to shop!

Lisa Butler, key makeup artist for TEMPTU, created the consummate Herve Leger woman for the Fall 2o12 Collection, minimalist, gorgeous and strong. This season, she played up features such as eyes, lips and cheeks with neutral tones to boost models’ assets.
There is nothing like being backstage at fashion show. Models are running around from makeup to hair to nails getting glammed for the show. Bloggers, magazine editors, photographers, and videographers are all trying to capture the key makeup artist creating and explaining the look. All during all of this the clothes are being styled, photographed, and finally thrown on a model and sent down the runway.

The TEMPTU Team was backstage at the Hervé Léger by Max Azria Spring 2012 show adding key makeup artist Lisa Butler in transforming the models into glowing, golden goddesses. The look, which was inspired by strong women, was achieved by first perfecting the skin then using highlighters to sculpt the face and add a golden shimmer to the eyes.
