TEMPTU has been the “behind the scenes brand of choice” that professional makeup artists use backstage to create looks for the runway. Since the launch of its first airbrush foundation in 1996, TEMPTU has been featured on the runways of Givenchy, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Anna Sui, John Galliano, BCBG MAX AZRIA,…Read More

Leave it to the Miami crowd to keep it sexy in 100 degree weather. Last night, we wrapped up Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim ’14 alongside the bronzed and the beautiful as the official makeup sponsor of 6 Shore Road. Key Makeup Artist Michelle Cameau went for a bold and fresh look with an edge,…Read More
Dallas women sure do love their makeup. Last week, we played dress up with the wives of the Dallas Cowboys Women’s Association, in where else but Kristen Sensabaugh’s (wife of former Cowboys’ safety Gerald Sensabaugh) home bathroom. As the makeup sponsor of Fashion’s First Down Charity Fashion Show, we helped raise funds for the Nexus Recovery Center, by prepping the ladies for their big runway debuts. Read More
Tick Tock! We are on the countdown for the premiere of Teen Wolf season 3. Earlier this year, we caught Holland Roden in her trailer getting AIRbrushed by makeup artist Phyllis Temple. Holland plays Lydia Martin as the brainy beauty in the show. Both Porcelain and Ivory AIRpod were used to create a…Read More
“People don’t make music videos like this anymore.” said artist Donald Simrock after executing the stunning makeup during a demanding 4-day shoot for Thirty Seconds to Mars‘ new music video “Up in the Air”. Throw a bunch of celebrities on a stage, and you can count on one hell of a show. It was hard to keep a straight face at last night’s From Scotland With Love charity fashion show, when the models were kissing and riverdancing down the runway- all for a good cause! The couture, however, didn’t go unnoticed. Famed designers Vivienne Tam, Zang Toi and Chloe Chen, among others, reminded us why they’re the best in the biz, with their extravagant trains, delicate headpieces, and authentic kilts paired with modern tees.
The confident catwalkers wouldn’t have been shimmying through Stage 48 without the speedy and precise skills of our 6-member PRO team, who cranked out editorial-worthy smokey eyes, glowy skin, and bright bold lips, in under two hours. Did we mention there were 60 models, who also had to get their hair done? Yes, our MUAs are beasts!
If we have to pick an MVP of the night, our vote goes to Key Artist Dani Fonseca, who took the show’s theme (The Scottish Lion Meets the Asian Dragon) to new heights. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Read More
It would seem the planets were in perfect alignment at last week’s threeASFOUR Pret-a-Couture show. We happily dodged reporters and camera crews to prep for the coming of Ophiuchus, the 13th zodiac sign, and the inspiration for threeASFOUR’s fall ’13 collection. We used TEMPTU AIRpod Foundation and a mix of TEMPTU PRO S/B Multicolors, to create celestial beings who were part Sailor Moon, part Viking princess. We still get starry-eyed when we see pictures of those FIERCE blue lips! See them for yourself in our video, full of rare behind-the-scenes moments. Read More
The next time you watch the CBS show Vegas, pay close attention to the makeup artistry on the cast, especially on the fabulous showgirls. Last night, we barely noticed the covered art pieces at The Hole Gallery, in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The real action was backstage, where TEMPTU Key Makeup Artist Andrea Helgadottir, was mixing together her newest masterpiece: teal lip paint. She ran with threeASFOUR‘s Zodiac theme and sent out fierce beauties who were much less alien, and much more VOGUE. Read More
