Ahh, the MET Gala!  Last night was one of the biggest night’s in fashion’s annual events calendar. Spearheaded by leading lady Anna Wintour, New York City’s great fashion and beauty influencers gathered at the prestigious Metropolitan Museum to pay homage to this year to the legendary British designer, Charles James. TEMPTU was thrilled to be a part of the fashion extravaganza, creating the makeup looks for Glee actress, Dianna Argon and English actress, Ruth Wilson.

Dianna Argon dazzled in a beautiful TEMPTU look by celebrity makeup artist Georgie Eisdell. She shared: “Dianna’s gorgeous Miu Miu dress was the statement so I wanted her makeup to be classic and modern and not overpowering.” Georgie used La Mer’s Hydrating Facial and then Moisturizing Soft Cream to prep the skin, before using TEMPTU’s Airbrush Foundation for her red-carpet ready skin. She contoured Dianna’s face using TEMPTU’s AIRpod Bronzer. She finished off her look with our AIRpod Blush in Nude Pink on the apples of the cheeks. And Dianna was one of the first ladies to wear our brand new #TEMPTU4K Lipstick, launching this fall! Dianna is featured here in our soft Rose Velveteen color.

Actress Ruth Wilson commanded attention with a simple, yet  bold beauty look created by celebrity makeup artist Karen Alder. “Because Ruth is wearing a powerful dress, I wanted to strike a balance with powerful makeup that looks strong and expensive, without being theatrical.  This look is drama without the drag.” Karen used TEMPTU Airbrush Foundation to create her perfectly sheer skin and finessed her look with TEMPTU’s  4K Lipstick; she based her lip in Jet Rouge and then a thin layer over that in Imperial Red to get a deep stain, with the edges kept soft for a natural stained look.
