TEMPTU and Talia Shobrook at Jenny Packham F/W 2011
Inspiration can have the tendency of being born from unlikely sources. Jenny Packham’s Fall/Winter 2011 Collection was certainly not an exception to this rule. Her heavenly collection of shimmery gowns were actually inspired by the iridescence of a moth’s wings. Key makeup artist Talia Shobrook continued using Packham’s mothy muse in her makeup look for the show.
“My inspiration for the makeup was the ethereal creature, the moth. As a moth’s wings are different colors in different lights, I achieved this by using a combination of highlighters and brighteners in addition to using the airbrush, a perfect way to compliment the flawless skin needed to achieve the look.”
TEMPTU’s AIR pod Highlighters were the shining stars of this look. Talia and the TEMPTU team layered no less then three different Highlighter shades around the eyes, temples, and cheekbones to create a luminous opalescent effect on the face. On set Talia raved:
“I love the radiance and luminosity of TEMPTU Highlighters, the glow that radiates off of the airbrushed highlighters has a shimmering ethereal effect, and allows you to invisibly sculpt the face with light.”
