What inspired you when you were creating the BCBGMAXAZRIA Spring collection?

The Spring 2013 collection was inspired by the femme fatale muses and high contrast of Helmut Newton’s black and white photography. A cool combination of work wear and lingerie is offset by sculptural leather harnesses, while fluid silhouettes, elongated proportions and weightless fabrics embody the seductive allure of the season.

What are the colors for Spring 2013?

Dusty Pinks, Chambray Blues and Grays, Black And Talc White; inspired by the weatherworn patinas and whitewashed structures along the New York coastline. 

What is the must-have item in EVERYONE’s getaway bag this Spring?

I can’t choose only one, it truly depends on where you are going. A pair of comfortable flats, and a bottle of SPF lotion.
