TEMPTU x Maaji at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week: Miami Swim
TEMPTU made a splash at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week: Miami Swim with Maaji Swimwear. Lead makeup artist (also a Miami influencer) Aileen Quintana created an equestrian-themed look for the hot, Colombian swimwear line. The look was inspired by the checkered patterns and retro color schemes of Maaji Swimwear’s latest collection, featuring a bronzed complexion and light smokey eye suitable for on and off the #MBFWSwim runway.
The TEMPTU bronzed beauty look for Maaji was created in these steps:
1. Aileen first used our BASE Smooth & Matte Primer to even out the skin and create a poreless finish. Primer also helps makeup to stay in place, which really helps when you’re trying to beat the heat and want to keep looking your best!
2. For coverage, Aileen chose TEMPTU PRO’s Silicone-Based (S/B) Foundation, a versatile favorite of makeup artists. Silicone sits on top of the skin, masking imperfections and deflecting light, making it the perfect choice for industry events. Professionals can mix the formula in their SP-40 Airbrush for the perfect match.
4. Switching to her TEMPTU Airpod Blush in Peony, Aileen focused in on the cheeks and lips, creating the appropriate amount of flushness before moving in closer to fill in the lip lines for lasting color.
5. Finally to contour, Aileen chose TEMPTU S/B Highlighter to hand-apply along and underneath the facial bones. S/B can be layered for a more dramatic effect, making it perfect for both highlighting and contouring. Addicted to your compressor? Try our Airpod Bronzer if you haven’t already! A quick pod switch after spraying your foundation and, voila!, perfect contours.
TEMPTU also supported Style Saves, a non-profit that raises funds through fashion focused events to provide underprivileged students with new back-to-school outfits, at Miami Swim Week. Again, through our partnership with local makeup artist Aileen, TEMPTU provided flawless beauty looks for VIP guests at Style Saves’ charity event, which raised nearly $100,000 for back-to-school outfits for more than 500 children.
