The look the TEMPTU PRO Team created backstage for the Fall 2011 Odilon show, was definitely one of the most avant-garde looks we’ve created for New York Fashion Week. Now here’s your chance to learn how to recreate the look yourself!

The avant-garde circus experience has been a hot trend in modern entertainment for years. Shows like Cirque Du Soleil set the groundwork for this quickly expanding form of entertainment as early as 1987 with its show Le Cirque Reinvente. I am sure we can all agree that costume, and of course makeup play as important a role in the avant-garde circus show, as the physical feats that are performed. In 2009 TEMPTU PRO teamed up with Lucent Dossier Vaudeville Cirque first for the 51st Grammy’s and later in April for their Coachella performance. Always working to be on the cutting edge of makeup, TEMPTU PRO has teamed up with Bella Circo for their Oceania show. Here are a few behind the scenes images of the looks created with the help of our Dura Airbrush Makeup formula.

Steam-punk is used to describe Victorian sci-fi, similar to character style in City of Lost Children and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. The appliance was made with urethane foam from a cast of Cat’s face and a sculpt and mold. I also wired a light up eye to complete the effect.
It was all airbrush, body art and cocktails last Thursday at the May 6th event in North Hollywood at Naimie’s Beauty Center. The iconic beauty retailer co hosted the event to launch the line that launched TEMPTU PRO…our very own DURA! To celebrate the heritage of…Read More
