Inspiration can have the tendency of being born from unlikely sources. Jenny Packham’s Fall/Winter 2011 Collection was certainly not an exception to this rule. Her heavenly collection of shimmery gowns were actually inspired by the iridescence of a moth’s wings. Key makeup artist Talia Shobrook continued using Packham’s mothy muse in her makeup look for the show.
What better way to fight the winter blues (and cold) than adding a pop of pink on your cheeks? At least that’s how the TEMPTU Team sees it! In honor of Spring, we are releasing three new blush shades: Peony, Hot Pink, and Nude Pink.

“For Spring 2011, Hervé Léger defines a modern-day Marie Antoinette”, as Max Azria explains. The pieces are intricate and sculpted. Lisa Butler, key makeup artist for TEMPTU, asserted that the strength and structure of the collection needed to be paired with a natural, ethereal look. By delicately blending highlighters and blushes they achieved a clean, sweetness to enhance the models natural beauty. Lisa Butler used washes of translucent pink pearl highlight to sculpt and modulate the face, and continuing onto the body.
