From Scotland With Love

Throw a bunch of celebrities on a stage, and you can count on one hell of a show. It was hard to keep a straight face at last night’s From Scotland With Love charity fashion show, when the models were kissing and riverdancing down the runway- all for a good cause! The couture, however, didn’t go unnoticed. Famed designers Vivienne Tam, Zang Toi and Chloe Chen, among others, reminded us why they’re the best in the biz, with their extravagant trains, delicate headpieces, and authentic kilts paired with modern tees.

The confident catwalkers  wouldn’t have been shimmying through Stage 48 without the speedy and precise skills of our 6-member PRO team, who cranked out editorial-worthy smokey eyes, glowy skin, and bright bold lips, in under two hours.  Did we mention there were 60 models, who also had to get their hair done? Yes, our MUAs are beasts!

If we have to pick an MVP of the night, our vote goes to Key Artist Dani Fonseca, who took the show’s theme (The Scottish Lion Meets the Asian Dragon) to new heights. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Read More

TEMPTU at the 8th Annual Dressed to Kilt Show

April 8, 2011  |  Events  |  No Comments

The TEMPTU Team provided a “Rock with Country Chic” look for the 8th Annual Dressed to Kilt fashion show hosted by Sir Sean and Lady Connery on April 5th at the Hammerstein Ballroom to benefit the Erskine Hospital, Paralyzed Veterans of America, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Models and celebrities walked the catwalk in traditional and modern Scottish garments inspired by the world of country music. The theme was Rock with Country Chic, and the designers did just that. The outfits ran the gamut of rustic, haute couture, and traditional Scottish kilt plaid.  TEMPTU makeup artists created fresh glam looks for the ladies and the gents with the TEMPTU AIRbrush Makeup System for flawless beautiful skin throughout.
